To redeem something or someone is “to gain or regain possession in exchange for payment.”  The story of Ruth is a picture of such a redeeming love. Throughout the book, we are reminded that God can pick up the shambles of our lives and weave them together to make something beautiful—at a cost. This series will remind us how our Kinsman Redeemer, the Lord Jesus, sought us and bought us so we would “live happily ever(lasting) after” with him.
