Eugene & Marianna Dushakov

Eugene Dushakov and his wife Marianna serve in Ioshkar-ola City in the Mari-El Republic of Russia. They have three children: Elisey, Eve and Vasilina. Eugene has a large ministry among the orphans, and has lately been focusing on teens in the orphanages. This summer they are having an evangelistic camp for the children who are older than 14 years of age. He has a burden for those who will soon be leaving the orphanages and will begin their independent lives. As soon as they turn 18, they have to leave the orphanage and fend for themselves.

Eugene is also involved in outreach ministries in a village seventeen kilometers away. He visits and ministers in the rehab centre and is training teenagers to minister to teenagers. On top of all this, he shepherds a small church in Ioshkar-ola City, Russia.

In January 2006, Rob & Kathryn began church planting in Hitachinaka City, Japan. They target non-churched youth through their bi-weekly Saturday meetings. As well as conducting a Sunday morning service in their home, Rob preaches at Hitachi Hope Church, and provides leadership training for men called to pastoral ministry. Kathryn serves alongside Rob and disciples student believers. Since the 2011 earthquake, Rob has been involved in relief and recovery efforts. The Flemings have three children: Tess, Graydon, and Julia.

Klosay cares for his congregation while seeking to influence hundreds of other viewers around the world through streamed services. The congregation meets at James North Baptist Church in downtown Hamilton.

For several years, Justus Miwanda has been working to free children, their families and communities from the damage and cruelty of civil strife, poverty and disease. He has built a primary school and vocational training centre in a town called Buikwe, which provides quality education, meals and medical care in a Christian environment to hundreds of children who would otherwise not be in school. However, he is not done. He wants to build twelve more classrooms (to house 150 students), and more dormitories.

The gospel has changed their lives and they couldn’t be more excited about sharing it with Japanese people. Their mission—in affiliation with Missions 3D Threshold—is to equip and encourage Japanese to apply the gospel to every area of life.
